No More Promo FOMO: Loeffler Randall / by Kate Palisay

When it comes to brands with promotional emails that make me drool, Loeffler Randall takes the cake (if cake was made out of gorgeous materials like wood, leather, cotton, and suede... not flour, eggs, and butter). Their minimalist emails are visually stunning and well-written, with short but creative copy that makes me pine for their shoes and handbags.

Scrolling through these emails, I catch myself imagining a version of reality in which I've got my post-grad life all figured out: I'm working at a cool art or fashion start-up, managing social media and producing engaging online content, writing blog posts and fun, quirky emails to our subscribers. I bring a fresh-made juice and my long-haired wiener with me to my dog-friendly office daily. On our way home, we stop to pick up fresh flowers to bring back to my girlfriend for our tiny but perfect Brooklyn apartment. Naturally, I'm wearing a pair of Loeffler Randall platform espadrille slides throughout.

While the designer shoes (and the lifestyle to match) may only be a fantasy for me right now, there's a lot to be said for a promotional email that inspires such an imaginative reaction. I can justify my daydreams because I know they motivate me to work hard to turn them into reality.

Fantasy worlds aside, Loeffler Randall's emails offer more than just pretty pictures. In addition to promoting their products and sales (major key, by the way; get that fantasy lifestyle at a discount), they also include links to features on their company blog, such as profiles of some rad ladies who rock their LR duds with style.
